Dallas Drug Possession Lawyers

Texas Drug Possession Laws

Texas has harsh drug possession laws. Although some offenses may be charged as misdemeanors, many others are considered felonies. This means that if you've been charged and are subsequently convicted, you could face years of incarceration and/or steep fines. Additionally, you'll have a permanent criminal record, which can make it difficult for you to live your life as you once did. Finding a job, getting financial aid for school, or even finding a home could be challenging. To avoid or minimize the effects of a conviction, you need to aggressively fight your charges with the help of an experienced lawyer.
